👋 About me

Hey there, I am Francisco Fonseca and I am writing from Portugal.

I decided to give my first try on building a community by creating the Portuguese Travel Tech Community. In addition to this, I have also worked as a community manager in various startup acceleration programs, like Tourism Solutions Now, Women4Climate Lisboa, and From Start-to-Table, all part of Startup Lisboa incubator.

Before that, I was lucky to be Startup Grind Chapter Director at my hometown, Coimbra.

During the last two years, my passion for communities, the contact with amazing and inspiring people in the industry, and my love for sports (I am an ultrarunner) have led to a greater interest in understanding how community as a strategy can become a competitive advantage for sports and wellness related businesses and which brands stand out (and why).

This was the starting point for creating Connect Dots.
